I can't believe its already 2011. Its almost four months since I have been in England... time has really flown. As usual, there is so much to tell so I will merely list the points. They are as follows:
- I had the opportunity of spending a day in court thanks to one of the Rotarians that allowed me to sit in during the proceedings. It was very interesting and informative. I must therefore say a big thank you to Rotarian Scott Wolstenholme for making it possible!
- The Rotaract and Rotary Christmas parties were great fun.
Rotaract Club of Leeds Christmas Party
- I spent Christmas in the United Kingdom. It was my first time spending Christmas away from my family and its was different but completely fun. It was wonderful to have received a Christmas sock filled with gifts. The experience was wonderful as I had only see in it movies before. This tradition is something I will definitely introduce to my family in Jamaica. A big thank you to Mrs. Parchment for opening her home to me this Christmas as without her I would not have experienced a true British Christmas.
- I spent the last days of 2010 in Scotland for Hogmanay. It was fabulous! I loved the excitement of beginning a New Year in Edinburgh. I fell in love with the old city, its character and beautiful scenery. I attempted to climb Arthur's seat (Extinct Volcano in Edinburgh) but only made it halfway. It was still fun :)
